Coming from the South and California, I never really get a chance to see real winters. I lived in Rhode Island for a short time, but mostly saw ice around the city; this was way different. Snapped some great photos, some of which have already been added to my Vancouver collection in the shot gallery.
The park is expansive, and I have a feeling I only saw half of it, but you can climb up the mountain, you can go down by the water and rocks, it was really cool. There was even a small creek that had been frozen over. It was all strangely really beautiful. A place frozen in time. I forgot how fun hiking was - even in the cold. I will definitely be going back!
